Dermal Science International Aesthetics & Nails Academy is pleased to announce an Oncology Workshop for Estheticians in Reston VA from November 15-17, 2015.
Hosted by Dermal Science International Aesthetics & Nails Academy, a leading, national esthetician training school, The workshop will be conducted by Oncology Spa Solutions who offers the OE-USA Advanced Educational Program for Spa Professionals.
The workshop will be conducted at Dermal Science International Aesthetics & Nails Academy, located at 11301 Sunset Hills Road, Suite A-5, in Reston VA.
In this 3-day training course, you are invited to “open your mind, open your heart and change the course of your life! You will learn the importance of the Esthetician’s role in caring for their clients during cancer and traditional cancer treatments. We will look at how it affects the skin as well as the emotional wellbeing and how you can help. You will learn about ingredients and how to make good product choices to help the skin recover and heal. Our mission is to teach you the essential skills necessary to make modifications for custom, safe spa treatments that will enhance client quality of life.
The 24-hour program covers the following:

• Identifying Side Effects in Order to Personalize for a Safe Custom Treatment • Ingredients in our Personal Care Products
• How Does Cancer Affect our Clients Psychologically and Emotionally
• The Estheticians Role in Skin Cancer
• CAT Forms – Client Consultation
• Marketing – How to Share Your Newly Learned Skills with Your Community • Hands On – Practical with students and cancer patients
