At Dermal Science International Aesthetics & Nails Academy, we train students to pursue a career as a licensed skincare specialists.
In our full-time or part-time program, our students learn how to evaluate skin conditions, how to improve a person’s skin quality and healthfulness, how to perform hair removal, how to be adept at waxing, how to professionally clean skin, and how to evaluate and apply skincare products including cleansers, lotions and skincare creams.
Through instructor lectures and hands-on training, our skincare students learn how to provide relaxing facials, give high quality skincare advice, and a host of other skills.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the most promising jobs for skincare specialists reside in salons, spas and medical offices. After attending our training academy, our students are well equipped to take the Virginia, Maryland & DC Board licensing exams.
